Moving forward with growth & change.

Upcoming events

This is the first of many gatherings we hope will continue to support those moving through infertility—with compassion, openness, and respect for every unique journey.

Registration is recommended. Please email: info@nestwellness.ca

We look forward to welcoming you.

If you’re navigating a fertility journey, you know how layered, emotional, and often isolating it can feel. The uncertainty, the waiting, the hope, the grief—sometimes all at once. It’s not something that can be easily explained, and too often, it’s something people carry quietly.

We believe no one should have to move through this experience alone.

We’re opening our doors on at The Nest Wellness, Kemptville, on May 21 from 6–8PM for a gentle, supportive evening created for individuals experiencing infertility. This is a space to be heard, seen, and listened to—without pressure, without expectation.

In collaboration with The Nest Wellness and Downstream Psychotherapy, this open house is an opportunity to:

– Connect with others who understand

– Explore an optional individual art therapy experience

– Learn about supportive resources

– Share your voice and help shape future community offerings

– Simply be in a space that holds you, just as you are

Light refreshments will be available, and our team will be there to support conversation, answer questions, and begin building a community rooted in care and connection.

why Downstream?

Here, change is approached in a way that values process over pressure, and attunement over fixing. Like the steady movement of water — not forcing or fighting against what is present, but moving with care, curiosity, and responsiveness. In this way, therapy is understood as a collaborative process of listening deeply, creating safety, and supporting forward movement that feels sustainable and grounded.

Just as water adapts to the shape of its environment, the therapeutic process is responsive to each person’s unique nervous system, lived experience, strengths, and context.

Downstream Psychotherapy represents a calm, relational, and thoughtful approach to healing — one that welcomes complexity, honours depth, and trusts that meaningful growth often emerges not through force, but through connection, safety, and steady movement over time.
